KTM 250 Duke is now coming as BS-VI to meet the 2020 requirements along with split seats, LED DRL's and Digital instrument cluster. Furthermore it got dual-channel ABS unit and it can use the Supermoto mode that allows the Rear wheel ABS unit to be turned off. This model was first introduced in India in the year 2017. This ready to race model is mounted with a 250 cc single cylinder liquid cooled. It is provided with fuel injection system engine that can give output of 30 bhp (22Kw) and 24 Nm peak Torque. It's power is transferred to the wheels with chain and 6 speed gearbox that includes a slipper clutch unit. Assist and Slipper clutch offers hassele free gear shifting.For the display it uses LCD screen from the 200 Duke. The KTM 250 Duke come with13.5 lit fuel tank, Upside down (USD) forks in the front and a mono-shock unit at the rear. There are front and rear disc brakes fitted for the assistance of the rider. Its world class chassis is combined with a lightweight steel trellis frame. The KTM 250 Duke is provided with “Supermoto” mode. This is to support the dual-channel ABS setup. The “Supermoto mode” can bs activated with a push button. Then the Supermoto system controls ABS ONLY on the front wheel. Rear brake works independently as per the rider's braking wish. KTM Duke 250 is oneof the best model for the International 250 class rally sport.

KTM 250 Duke got lightweight with its new structure. And its xhaust system placed to meet the Motorbike's center of gravity point which comprises of a side exhaust, link pipe and silencer. KTM 250 Duke got its three chamber silencer positioned close to overall center of gravity of the motorcycle. In Sri Lanka young men used to visit the dealer to check this KTM bike in large number even though its price is little higher than the average motorcycle models.
