Honda Hornet 250 Motorcycle is one of the first Naked Streetfighter model or semi-faired motorcycle that came from the Japan Honda's production line. This is one of the popular motorcycles in Sri Lanka and Pakistan. When it was introduced it became a hit with the youths in Japan and used models in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. In Japan this motorcycle was unveiled as Honda CB250F when it was introduced. Hornet 250cc motorbike was actually produced for the Japanese market only and was produced from 1996 till 2007. Lot of Honda CB250F was imported as used motorbikes in to Sri Lanka by the local motorcycle importers. Actually this model Honda CB250F is a heavy Street motorbike.
It is legal to use 250cc Motorcycles a that are with head lamp, turn signal lights and rear view mirrors.

250cc Motorcycle is not suitable for motocross or trail tracks. Why the motorcycle is having CB in its name? In the early years Honda did produced C models, then CA and now CB models are their current versions. CB models allow the rider to keep his hands in stretch mode while the body will lean little forward. So these will make the rider to take curves easily by just giving his body weight on the curve side. The stretch hand mode while giving little body weight to the corner side allows taking the curve without turning the handle bar. Actually Honda’s CBR means Cross Beam Racer.
