Sri Lanka is waiting for the Yamaha Fascino Scooter as vehicle import ban is going on in this year 2024 too.

Yamaha Fascino125 FI Scooter is coming with BS-VI Engine. It got UBS Braking system (Unified Braking System) which will apply braking power on both wheels by pressing rear brake lever. Less weight and Fuel Injection (FI) system make it to be more economical one while in operation. Yamaha Fascino scooter is not in production in India any more as a 113cc model. Meanwhile this 113cc models is available in Nepal and Bangladesh. Yamaha India had stopped all the 110cc engine powered scooters from its production line. The Fascino is available as Drum and 190mm Disc version in India where there are 5 body color selection is available too. This scooter is provided with comfortable seating facility for two people including the rider. This is a good scooter for ladies and men. It is marketed as a gear less powerful elegant model in India. Currently Yamaha Fascino scooter is out of stock in Sri Lanka. It may be available by the year 2022. Scooter buyers from India have the chance to buy the latest Yamaha Fascino 125 Hybrid scooter from the Yamaha dealer. Drum brake model is available in 7 colors and the Disc brake model is available in 9 different colors.

Yamaha Fascino 125 Hybrid.

Yamaha's Smart Motor Generator (SMG).Silent start and auto stop start facility along with ‘adopting the hybrid system’, according to Yamaha. Basically it is working as an electric motor. That can provide power assist when it is taking off from stop position or climbing up an incline slope. When the power assist function is in operation the rider will get notification in the dash board. The power assist will stop after three seconds of setting off or after a pre-determined rpm is achieved. It can stop when the rider close the throttle.
LED headlight, with bar type LED DRL at the center. Taillight is provided with LED light. Bluetooth enabled full digital dash board (Uses Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X App). Rider can answer incoming calls; locate the scooter, record of riding and parking history. But it lacks with the turn by turn navigation like TVS Ntorq scooter and Suzuki Access 125.

Yamaha Motorcycles and Scooters are not available as brand new one in Sri Lanka due to Sri Lanka Government's Vehicle Import Ban.
